Implemented under the BINA’ sub-grants, funded by the European Union and managed by Transparency International Secretariat (TI-S) and Transparency International Lebanon (TI-LB), the Open Municipality Project, implemented by LoGoNet in collaboration with Ras El Matn Municipality, celebrated an inspiring eight-month journey of collaboration, learning, and innovation.
Throughout this journey, the project strengthened transparency, participation, accountability, and citizen-driven governance. The closing ceremony gathered municipalities, partners, and experts for an engaging panel discussion featuring Ras El Matn and Hazmieh Municipalities, AFDC, MESD, and the MENA Director of the Connective Cities Network, who shared lessons and aspirations from local to regional levels.
The event also showcased a documentary screening, the launch of the new municipal website and KPI dashboard, and a visit to the composting facility, a true reflection of how trust and cooperation can drive sustainable change.
Grateful to all partners, municipal teams, and guests who made this vision of open, inclusive, and transparent local governance a reality!
